A native of Puerto Rico, Mr. Rodriguez identifies with the firm’s clients who have immigrated to the United States. An expert investigator and influential litigator, Mr. Rodriguez won a major victory in the New Orleans Immigration Asylum Office for one of the firm’s clients. The case was based on the persecution and death threats of the client to join a Honduran gang. The number of cases awarded throughout the United States based on gang recruitment is less than a handful, marking this win as a key victory in these types of cases. Since then, Mr. Rodriguez has obtained several asylums based on the persecution of gangs, or maras, and has also obtained asylums for other clients based on sexual assault, sexual orientation, and witnessing a crime, among others. Mr. Rodríguez’s attention to detail and a wide range of experience allows him to do the unimaginable for clients. Mr. Rodriguez immerses himself completely into the investigation of the clients’ circumstances. His calling in life is to fight for the justice that his clients deserve. Mr. Rodriguez is an expert in investigating, discovery, interrogation and case preparation from discovery to the testing phase, ensuring that the firm’s immigration clients receive the best representation in New Orleans.
