April Farmer

Ms. Farmer brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm with her background and education.  She has extensive experience in drafting lawsuits, demand letters, complaints, and discovery, to name a few.  As a former Paralegal with the Jefferson Parish Attorney’s Office, Ms. Farmer learned quickly how to manage a large caseload.  A hard-working team player, Ms. Farmer says, “Success of the firm and empowering our clients motivates me to do a great job.” Ms. Farmer volunteered as first responder during Hurricane Katrina and helped deliver a baby.  Unstoppable, she has been known to work from her “car office” during weekend hours while chaperoning her children—just to get the job done. The co-owner and director of Diamondtime Dance Team is a love that Ms. Farmer is passionate about.  She teaches various dance styles to children ages 3-19, and tutors/mentors young children with reading skills. Ms. Farmers childhood was spent growing up between El Paso, Texas, Baton Rouge, and Meridian, Mississippi. Ms. Farmer shares, “I love New Orleans so much, especially the food!”
