Born in Mexico, Mr. Elizondo immigrated with his family to the United States as a child and dreamt of becoming an Immigration Attorney. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Oklahoma University and his J.D. at Oklahoma City University School of Law where he made Dean’s List and received a Full-Time Merit Scholarship for academic achievement. When Attorney Dario Elizondo passed the Oklahoma Bar Exam in 2017, he ranked in the Top-18th percentile on the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE).
As a first-generation immigrant Mr. Elizondo treats civic engagement as the priority in his life and views his career as an Immigration Attorney with the highest ethical and moral code. “My work with detained immigrants motivates my belief that deportations are inherently immoral, and that immigrant detention is a means of meeting the goals of white-supremacy,” says Elizondo.
Deeply passionate about immigration matters, Mr. Elizondo has devoted the last two years of his life, almost exclusively, to the defense of immigrants in removal proceedings, as well as those who are fortunate enough to have a road to Citizenship.
In his spare time, Mr. Elizondo enjoys New Orleans, and all of the cultural activities.
